Lake County Biking (South)
Lake County, to the west of Orlando, gets its name from the more than 1,400 named lakes
in the county. With rolling hills along the Lake Wales Ridge, Lake County offers more
challenging Central Florida biking including some of the highest points in
Florida.

Connect to the West Orange Trail (Orange County)
to create 30 miles of continuous paved bike trail riding |

Van Fleet Trail (D), although not included on this website due to its distance
(i.e., greater than 25 miles from downtown Orlando), is a premier Florida
bike trail in Lake and Polk
Counties. When the South Lake Trail connector is done, this will be an even more
awesome ride. |
D = Destination Trail with unique interest due to length, beauty and variety of uses,
worth the drive (most include Neighborhood Trail characteristics).
N = Neighborhood Trail serving a community to link homes, shopping,
business, and schools. |
